Application
The DIGISTANT ® type 4420 universal calibrator, built to use in the
field, is ideal for checking and calibrating temperature measurement and
control devices, and documenting the measurement results. The versatile
functions of this portable unit allow to be used on-site or at a fixed
location, on the test floor or in the laboratory.The unit allows the measurement
of voltages, currents, temperatures and resistances.Simultaneous transmission
and measurement allow, for example, controllers to be checked precisely.The
automatic ramp function is used for controlling processes. The universal
calibrator measures and simulates 8 types of thermocouples and Pt 100.
In addition, resistances can be measured from 10 mOhm to 2 kOhm and simulated
from 10 Ohm to 2 kOhm. The reference junction temperature can be entered
manually via keypad; if required, however, an automatic reference to an
internal or external point is also possible. Basic values and the corresponding
delta-values can be stored with 10 freely programmable memories each for
voltage, current, temperature and resistance. Relevant values can be added
and subtracted by operating the delta + and delta - keys respectively.

Application
The DIGISTANT ® type 4422 universal calibrator is ideal for checking
and calibrating temperature measurement and control devices, and documenting
the measurement results. The versatile functions of this portable unit
allow to be used on-site or at a fixed location, on the test floor or
in the laboratory.The unit allows the measurement of voltages, currents,
temperatures and resistances. In combination with the pressure modules
series 7131 pressure can be measured authentically. Simultaneous transmission
and measurement allow, for example, controllers to be checked precisely.
The automatic ramp function is used for controlling processes.The universal
calibrator measures and simulates 14 types of thermocouples, Ni 100, Pt
100, Pt 200, Pt 500 and Pt 1000. In addition, resistances can be measured
from 10 mOhm to 2 kOhm and simulated from 10 Ohm to 2 kOhm.The reference

Description
The microprocessor controlled universal calibration source is operated
via a clearly arranged membrane keyboard. The value entry keys have a
different color to the function and memory keys, thus allowing clear differentiation
between measurement and transmission variables.

Description
For the first
time, the newly developed DIGISTANT makes it possible to calibrate
mechanical magnitudes such as force, torque or displacement using a single
calibrator, in addition to the usual electrical and thermal magnitudes.
That makes this versatile calibrator stand out from its class capacity to
generate the extensive and comprehensive documentation that is necessary
nowadays for any calibration. The DIGICAL software allows the calibration
results to be downloaded from the DIGISTANT for the purposes of
documentation and logging. Up to 21 measurements per device for up to 50
devices can be stored in non-volatile memory. The tested items can also be
classified as „Good/Bad“ according to the error tolerances permitted for
the device. The DIGISTANT model 4423 has a robust aluminum console
housing. The builtin NiMH battery is protected against overcharging and
deep discharge. The device can also operate in buffer mode using the mains
adapter provided. The universal calibrator is supplied complete with its
plug-in mains adapter, test certificate with traceability certification
and measuring cable.

The new 3000 series calibrators are housed in a totally new case design with a new ergonomically design rubber keyboard, offering durability and ease of use. The new case also provides strength, particularly during transportation.
The new internal fan and heat sinking combined with a new high quality mos power amplifier design gives longer operation at higher power, delivering an incredible 30Amps into the Transmille clamp coil adaptor, allowing calibration of the growing number of dmm’s with 30A ranges and clamp meters up to 1500Amps.
Technically, the new design offers many new features such as 30A current, active and passive resistance & capacitance. This gives the advantage of the precision of fixed value plus variable resistance and capacitance across a wide range of values, up to 10mF for capacitance. The specifications and frequency range have also been improved.
All models now come with thermocouple simulation as standard, the 3041 & 3010 also include PRT calibration as standard as well.
Power calibration options now available for the 3041 & 3010 use cutting edge DDS programmable waveform generation allowing calibration of the harmonic measurement functions of power meters. The user can select from standard built in waveforms or upload arbitrary waveforms from a PC, for the bext flexibility.
Oscilloscope calibration options for the 3041 & 3010 models now include a low cost 350MHz and a high performance 620MHz option.
A new combined workstation option, which can link to the coil, provides calibration of insulation testers with a range of resistances to 2GOhms at up to 1kV. Also built-in are functions for the calibration of process control calibrators which can source and measure voltage and current.

ProCal software automates the calibration for many types of instruments, and produces printed calibration certificates.
ProCal can be used either manually with results entered using the keyboard and/or connected via the RS232 / GPIB bus to directly control many types of calibrators and measuring instruments. ProCal uses Microsoft Access™ database files which also allows user based integration of other software if required (reporting/queries). Full use of pull down menus, data entry forms and graphical displays of data simplify operation, with a 'fill in the boxes' approach to data entry (no programming experience required!). For larger laboratories a network version of the software is available.
