The range of application for the high-precision resistance decades type
1408 and 1409 stretches from reference standard for precision measurements
up to simulation of a host of measuring transducers.
The field of application of the precision decade type 1406/07 reaches
from general precision measuring to simulation of a variety of measuring
transducers, such as for example strain gauge transducers, resistance
thermometers, hygrometers and others.
The type 1405 tests and calibrates quickly and easily displays, in control
and process technology which is working on a resistance thermometer basis.

Description
In its function as temperature simulator the decade offers the choice
of sensors like Pt 100, Pt 200, Pt 500, Pt 1000, Ni 100 and Ni 1000 in the
range from -200 °C up to +850 °C.
The temperature is entered via keyboard or data interface.
The corresponding resistance appears at the output socket in two, three or
four wire method.
The resistance decade allows a direct choice of resistances between 1 Ω
and 1,2 MΩ. Depending on the ohm value the resolution can be chosen up to
0,00001 Ω. The selected resistance can be picked off via two or four wire
method. The LCD display informs about chosen resistance or temperature,
sensor type and control status.

2090 PROGRAMMABLE RESISTANCE BOX
|
 |
- 0.1Ω to 99.9999kΩ
- 0.1% Accuracy
- 0.01% Accuracy (option)
- RS232 Interface
- 1 Watt Power Rating
- Front Panel Display & Controls
Connect the 2090 to the serial COM port of a PC and automate
almost any task performed by a standard resistance box saving time and
reducing errors.
The 2090 is ideal for simulation of any kind of RTD (Resistance Thermometer)
or resistive sensor / transducer in ATE or test systems. Controlling the
2090 is achieved using simple high level commands which can be sent to
the unit from any program or programming language. the 2090 uses passive
resistors and exactly mimics the performance of a conventional resistance
box. Front panel controls and display allow easy local operation, which
is essential for a hoc testing and troubleshooting.
